Our assignment this week was to draw 5 interior spaces, with people included. I've come to the conclusion that my people drawing skills need to improve.

Our next sketchbook assignment was to find a few leaves and draw them. Including a negative space drawing, blind contour, pure contour, and shadow drawing.

We've been studying contours so our next sketchbook assignment was to draw a pure contour drawing of the Foust Building. I tried my best.

Getting into this whole blog thing, I found some sketchblogs I really enjoyed. My favorite would have to be www.wagonized.typepad.com. The sketches are so detailed and so personal, it just drew me in. I'm amazed that the little things you see in life can turn into works of art with just a pen and paper. Kudos on the hatching!
